LAKSHADWEEP
(Laccadive Islands )
located approximately 200 miles off the coast
of India in the Arabian Sea. Bangaram Island is
an uninhabited island open to tourists. Most of
these islands have a lagoon enclosed by a coral
reef on the western side . The climate is tropical
with summer temperatures ranging from 35 C to
22 C and in winter from 32 C to 20 C.
The
monsoon period is usually from 15 May to 15 September
.
Access
:by air from Cochin to Agatti and by boat from
Agatti to Bangaram.
